IKAHI Routine Meeting of Four Judicature Environments in Special Region of Yogyakarta

In addition, Hasan Muhammad also expected that the members of IKAHI in Special Region of Yogyakarta to make changes and do performance improvement efforts as judges so that they could give maximal services for the justice seekers. Not only that, on the occasion the Chairman of High Religious Court of Yogyakarta also put his hope on the members of IKAHI to be able to keep the good image and prestige of IKAHI, as the code of ethics has been set. "It's all will eventually have an impact on welfare achievement for the members," On his closing speech.
On the same occasion, Chairwoman of High Court of Yogyakarta Nurganti Saragih emphasized the need of activity reports so there would be no more case brokers (markus) that were growing more increasingly. Emphasizing the members of IKAHI to be fair, then she also reminded them about a hadith that there more judges to go to hell than they to Paradise. Expected that all the members of IKAHI of Yogyakarta were the judges who would enter the Paradise.
The regular meeting held every 3 months was also filled with tausiyah by Saebani, lecturer of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. In his tausiyah, Saebani re-reminded the meaning of life is to worship. Thus, anyone would be aware that conscience must be prioritized. "Remember, that whatever we do must be accounted later in the afterlife, so let's compete for the better," Saebani said.
With a relaxed style, but appropriate, Saebani also reminded that the judge’s face do not have to be a haunted face, because the essence of a fair judge is an honest judge. Being honest, the judge will be afraid to make mistakes, because in his conscience there is denial and belief that anything he has done, later will be asked for responsibility by the Almighty.
At the end of the meeting which held in Parangtritis Restaurant was also filled with the introduction of new judges and farewell for judges who moved or were promoted. From High Religious Court of Yogyakarta, there was a farewell of Fadhil Sumadi who is now a Constitutional Judge in the Constitutional Court, and an introduction for Ahmad Adib, a judge for Religious Court of Yogyakarta.
