Implementing Information Technology: Tanjung Karang Religious Court Visits to Wonosari Religious Court
Public Information Openness through Information Technology
Wonosari, Yogyakarta (14/05/10) - Public information openness is currently required to be fulfilled on all public agencies or state agencies. Recently, for Religious Court, the effort for giving information widely to public is assisted by the Information Technology (IT) on The application of System for Cases Administration and Information (SIADPA), Information Desk / Public Relation, TV Media, and Website. The IT implementation that has been running the last few years in Religious Court of Wonosari (PA Wonosari) had encouraged Religious Court of Tanjung Karang (PA Tanjung Karang) from Bandar Lampung High Religious Court’s jurisdiction to do a comparative study in PA Wonosari on Friday, (05/14/10).

IT TEAM Delegation of PA Tanjung Karang received by the Chairman of the PA Wonosari, Jeje Jaenudin, within the framework of Comparative Study of Information Technology implementation to support of main tasks
The delegation of comparative study was led by Registrar / Secretary of PA Tanjung Karang, Helmizar Basyari, along with seven members of the IT team of registrar and secretary units. The delegation was welcomed by Chairman of PA Wonosari, Jeje Jaenudin, along with the members of IT team. "We're honored with the visit of far guests from the PA Tanjung Karang. Hopefully this visit can bring benefits and share the experience of IT implementation in our institutions. "He said.
“The information technology is a tool for the case finalization. After completion of cases, as the provision obliges to inform to public, so we inform through the medias we have such board information and website. It is hard to imagine when there is a large number of cases but the finalization is done with the conventional manner. So, as a tool, IT makes works and public liability more effective, " Jeje Jaenudin added.
According to Registrar of Tanjung Karang Religious Court, Helmizar Basyari, his institution has been using IT but it has not yet been running maximally because of several problems. "We have been using IT especially SIADPA to help resolve the case, but the condition of human resources in charge of IT and the transformation to other technical staffs we still need to improve," He said.
As usual after a formal welcome ceremony and sharing of information, the delegation headed server and locations from the beginning of the process of SIADPA, from the beginning of case acceptance in Desk I until the final output in the form of divorce certificate at Desk III. At that session was noted how the compactness of the use of technology must be an agreement between the Judges, Registrars, and the bailiffs, so that if all have compacted and agreed, the use of SIADPA will go well.
Application Tool of SIADPA becomes the parent of the accessible information for public. Through the application, religious court can automatically provide basic information needs around the cases, because the application is connected with information board, TV Media, and online information on the Website. By doing so, people can see session schedules, remaining cash advances, and case development.
To build IT for supporting duties in an institution needs perseverance and a strong moral commitment. Even for matters related to the care and maintenance of equipment such as servers and computers it might need to involve third party who can be invited to co-operation. "Minimally, once a month they'll scan the viruses and control equipment that must be replaced, and they could be summoned at any time if there is damage. But the basic mastery of SIADPA must be mastered by at least one of the SIADPA administrators and be transformed to another,” Ahmad Mashuri, an admin of SIADPA said.
