Friendship Tennis Match between PTA Yogyakarta against PTA Semarang
Semarang, pta-yogyakarta.go.id (23/07/10) - Friday morning (07/23), PTWP (Tennis Association of Judicial Members) Team from Yogyakarta High Religious Court (PTA Yogyakarta) went to Semarang for a friendship match with PTWP Team from Semarang High Religious Court (PTA Semarang). Located in tennis court of Graha Candi Golf Semarang, Yogyakarta PTWP team sent their best players from the High Religious Court and First level Religious Courts to face the Semarang team which is famous as a tough team within national PTWP scale.
An opening ceremony was held simply before the game between the two team had started. Opening the event, Chairman of the High Religious Court of Semarang, Drs. H. Chatib Rashid, SH., MH., in his speech as the host revealed that the purpose of the friendship match between the two teams in addition to strengthen silaturahim ties between the two High Religious Courts formally and emotionally over the years, was also to prepare the two teams for facing the Supreme Court Cup which was scheduled earlier at the end of 2011 approaching the retirement of Chief Justice.
Although superior on paper, the team of PTA Semarang did not see in one eye to the ability of that of Yogyakarta. This was proved by they kept deploying their best players of the core team.

The honorary game between two doubles pairs of the Chairman of PTA Semarang dealing with the Chairman of PTA Yogyakarta, opened the series of games between the two teams that day. Supported by both supporters of each team, the game run a fun and interesting. In that opening match, in the end the Chairman of PTA Yogyakarta paired with Anang Azis (PA Wonosari) was not able to defeat the Chairman of High Religious Court of Semarang who paired with Jitu, until the score ended 8-6 to win of doubles players of Chairman of High Religious Court of Semarang.
Being left behind in the opening match, did not make the spirit of the players from the PTWP team of Yogyakarta decline. Playing in the second game were the doubles players between the Vice Chairman of PTA Yogyakarta dealing with they of Vice Chairman of PTA Semarang, followed by doubles players between Registrar of PTA Yogyakarta facing they of Registrar of PTA Yogyakarta. Playing unloaded, the Yogyakarta players showed their best game in facing of the players from Semarang, although in the end, one by one player from Yogyakarta team must admit the excellence of PTA Semarang's team.
Chairman of PTA Yogyakarta who played back in the fifth game replacing his partner opposing again with Chairman of PTA Semarang on that occasion had not succeed yet to grab a victory point.
From some sessions competed in both singles and doubles of that chance was none successfully won by Yogyakarta team. However, although unsuccessfully competing with the dominance of the PTA of Semarang on tennis court on the occasion, Chairman of PTA Yogyakarta, Ahmad Syarhuddin, as the coach of PTWP team of PTA Yogyakarta admitted pleased to be able to measure the ability of his team from facing a tough team such as PTWP Team of PTA Semarang. Meanwhile, Vice Chairman of the PTA Yogyakarta, Nasir Mansur, whom was met after the last match had finished also expressed his commitment to improve the performance of PTWP team of PTA Yogyakarta in the future by studying the coaching patterns of athletes from PTA Semarang and conducting evaluations of every game that had been done.
The meeting between the two teams which took place in atmosphere of intimacy ended by mid-morning and was closed with lunch together in the field. Before releasing the PTWP team of PTA Yogyakarta return home, Chairman of PTA Semarang promised a return visit to Yogyakarta in order to make a friendship match with PTWP Team of PTA Yogyakarta on another occasion.
