Mayor of Yogyakarta Municipality with Chairman of Yogyakarta Religious Court
Mursid told several influential factors, namely the high educational factors and breadth of knowledge so that a wife did not feel awkward and burdened with the status of widow. Other factors, the husband did not run his obligation in providing livelihood to the families so that the wife had to work hard, as well as the higher income of wife than of husband.
"Unlike other regions, Gunungkidul and Kulonprogo for example, the high divorce rates are caused by low education factor and early marriage.
