PTA-yogyakarta.go.id (18/01/11) – The Commitment of PTA (High Religious Court of) Yogyakarta as the Regional Coordinator in its efforts to provide regular financial reports which are clear and clean was confirmed by conducting the activity of Assistance on the Preparation of Financial Report for Semester II of the Regional Coordinator of Judiciaries across the Special Region of Yogyakarta of 2010.

The activity was followed by the deputy secretaries of four judicatures, who each was accompanied by two operators of applications of finance and state property. Being conducted on Tuesday (18/01/11) it featured speakers from the Director General of State Finances Regional Office IX of Semarang, the State Office of Financial Services and Auction of Yogyakarta, and the Regional Office of Treasury of Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Province.

The Chairman of PTA Yogyakarta, Drs. H. A. Syarhuddin, SH., MH opening the assistance activity conveyed that the purpose of implementation of the activity was to improve the quality of financial reporting in order to support the Supreme Court to be out from the disclaimer opinion into unqualified opinion.

The assistance was carried out in theory and practice. On the occasion each work unit under the regional coordinator of PTA Yogyakarta submitted the problems faced by their respective work unit in the preparation of the report so far. The obstacles and problems then were raised and discussed in the event so they became valuable information for other work units.

Informant Haris Budi Susilo, said that the quality of reporting is much determined by the report that explains the condition of the organization that runs in real terms. Haris added that if there were findings by the State Audit Board, they according to the mandate of the law must be followed up immediately due to the findings direct the organization's activities to be efficient, effective, and obeying the law. The list of findings should also be disclosed in the report with the follow-ups that have been done.

Haris Budi Susilo representing all source persons, in the closure of activity also reported to the Chairman of PTA Yogyakarta that the preparation of the regional coordinator of PTA Yogyakarta was generally working properly. The prominent weakness in the reporting of agencies within the Supreme Court is the irregularity of inventory and valuation of fixed assets in which through the assistance activity at the regional level, held by PTA Yogyakarta as the regional coordinator it had been already addressed.

Spoken too, that DIPA (budget implementation entry list) of judiciary of DIY in 2010 of 54,011,791,000, - was revised to 54,143,168,000, - with the realization of the budget reached 94.94%.

The Chairman of PTA Yogyakarta in his closing speech said that PTA Yogyakarta as the regional coordinator is not necessarily as the best work unit, but in the interest and common purpose, he urged all court operators not to hesitate to consult and coordinate with PTA Yogyakarta as regional coordinator so that prepared reports would actually meet the standards and quality of reporting expected, so that in the reconstruction at the central level to be delivered in February by the Supreme Court later they would contribute in enhancing the status of reporting to be unqualified opinion.

To all judicial working units across DIY, the chairman also expressed gratitude for the cooperation and coordination that had been established, so that in the previous reporting period, the judiciary regional coordinator of DIY was rated as the fourth best nationally.
