Finalization on the Preparation of SOP in PTA Yogyakarta

Standard Operating Procedure prepared by a religious court in Yogyakarta Province should not be applied only in the religious court concerned, but also should be uniform and can be applied on all religious courts within the jurisdiction area of Yogyakarta High Religious Court.

That was one of the important messages of the Chairman of The Religious Court of Yogyakarta (PTA Yogyakarta), Drs. H. Ahmad Syarhuddin, SH., MH when giving the opening speech at the discussion meeting for Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of religious courts within the jurisdiction of PTA on Thursday (14/04/11). The opening of meeting held in the hall of PTA Yogyakarta attended by all chairmen,  registrars / Secretaries, and Deputy Secretaries of the religious courts within the jurisdiction of PTA Yogyakarta.

The Chairman of PTA Yogyakarta expected the uniformity in the preparation of the SOP because it would become a reference in carrying out the court administration and secretarial activities on religious courts of Yogyakarta in addition the new SOP prepared would also be a new standard to provide services to public.

The SOP discussed in this meeting was that in the field of registrary and of secretariat. The discussed on SOP of registrary was chaired by Deputy Chairman of PTA Yogyakarata, Drs. H. Mansur Nasir, SH., Accompanied by high judges, Drs. H. Ghufron Sulaiman, SH, MHum., Drs. H. Ahmad, SH, MH., And Drs. H. Abbas Fauzi, SH.

Previously, all religious courts has completed preparing draft of new SOP with reference to the SOP compiled by the Directorate General of Religious Court, which regulates the types of works, person who works, job descriptions and job stages. The final discussion of the preparation of the SOP conducted now was more in terms of discussing the time allocation of each phase of the activity in this field of court reporting. The preparation of time allocation was done also by considering the mileage and geographical conditions of each region related to the ability of justice seeker public to access which are unequal in the respective religious court's region.

According to the Circular letter of the Directorate General, all religious courts must already finish preparing SOP before April 15, 2011.

With regard to the SOP in the field of Secretariat, the discussion led by Deputy Secretary of PTA Yogyakarta, Karyarini Fathonah, SH., MM., was done at the meeting room, involving Deputy Secretaries of religious courts. The meeting was discussed the procedures of subdivisions at general, finance, and personnel, with the key informants were all head subdivision officials of PTA Yogyakarta.

According to Karyarini, the preparation of various procedures in the secretarial field in addition to detail the work flow and tasks of implementing the respective activities performance, was also to measure the workload on each unit, so that the implementation of management within an organization can run effectively and efficiently.
