“Modern society must be served also by modern work facilities.” Maybe that urge of Young Chairman of Supreme Court for Religious Judicature Environment (Tuada Uldilag MA RI) which was kept tight by High Religious Court of Surabaya (PTA Surabaya) in its performing as institute of public servant in the field of law. Such impression arose in the comparative study visit of PTA Yogyakarta to PTA Surabaya, Thursday, 10th December 2009. Court modernization itself has become the main theme on National Workshop of MA RI two years ago at Jakarta and has launched as a program of MA RI'S development.

Modern infrastructure and facilities in PTA Surabaya became the main focus of PTA Yogyakarta’s visit. PTA that supervised 37 first level religious courts consisting of 11 PAs class IA, 22 PAs class IB, and the rest PAs clas II, handles 16.000 cases every year. With the such large number of cases, other than it needs good human resources surely it needs good facilities too.
The building area of PTA Surabaya is not wider compared with PTA Yogyakarta's, but its space and interior settlement is properly better arranged and uses modern facilities.
Room archives and library room are particularly placed and regulated for its temperature to keep documentation and book material. So too for room where laid up electronics data storage and server that lies in one special room with centralized management. While for the purposes of the case information for the guest is provided an LCD screen in the lobby with the ready operator at any time to find the data.
The comparative study group of PTA Yogyakarta consisted of representative elements of high judges, registry and secretarity, on the occasion studied closely the case handling management and information systems in the field of registry, personnel, and finance, and the management of PTA Surabaya's website.
"With this visit other than to strengthen Silaturrahim and enhance cooperation between PTA Yogyakarta and PTA Surabaya, we hope we someday can have such facilities and infrastructure that PTA Surabaya already has now," said Vice Chairman of PTA Yogyakarta.
But not only the physical development is activated by PTA Surabaya, but also improving the quality of human resources even becomes the primary concern. " Now we routinely arrange English course for all employees. It is expected that all the judges and officials can at least read and understand literature in English," Explained Chairman PTA Surabaya, Drs.Kusno, SH., MH. in the meeting at the PTA Surabaya’s auditorium.
Previously Drs. Kusno had introduced high judges and officials of PTA Surabaya one by one. Each name of high court, from total of 18 people was mentioned well followed his/her background, as well as with officials of the PTA Surabaya. In the meeting, master of ceremony hosted the program in two languages, Indonesian and English.
