PTA Yogyakarta Has an English Club

English Meeting Club in PTA Yogyakarta

pta-yogyakarta.go.id - Friday, December 4, 2009 at 14:00 pm, the audiotorium of PTA Yogyakarta became witness on the first meeting of the English Meeting Club of Religious Courts under the jurisdiction of PTA Yogyakarta. Invitations from PTA Yogyakarta distributed throughout the PAs were accepted with enthusiasm by sending their emissaries to attend the event. Even the Chief of PA Yogyakarta himself, Drs. H. A. Damanhuri HR, SH, M. Hum along with the vice, Dra. Mustaqoroh, SH., MM. took part in the event.

In his speech, Vice Chairman of PTA Yogyakarta, Drs. Fadlil Sumadi, SH, MHum., As the coordinator reminded on the importance of English proficiency both spoken and written in the era of globalization. English as an international language is used widely in the writing of modern literature, so that, officials of religious courts who do not master English will have difficulty in increasing knowledge.

The constraint in mastering English is in practicing. Which is expected by the presence of English Meeting Club in the environment of PTA Yogyakarta, it can be a container in the study and practice language skills without fear of making mistakes.

In addition to meeting up committee was also scheduled regular meetings which would be performed in rotation at each PA. "Not the possibility of future meetings will be presented by native speakers who will diectly guide this meeting," Planned Drs. Lanjarto who was also working on the PA Sleman's website in English.
